Computational Facilities
The O'Hern Lab owns a 32-node serial Linux computer cluster. It is composed of 16 dual Pentium III and IV processors: half run at 1.8 GHz with 1GB RAM and the other half run at 2.4 GHZ with 2GB RAM. The cluster also has a larger RAID external storage array with 1000GB in storage capacity. Administration and support are provided by Yale's Workstation Support Services (WSS). In addition, Yale's Information Technology Services supports 160-node and 325-node Linux clusters. Our group has standing reservations on at least 50 of these nodes. More information about the high performance computing facilities at Yale can be found here.
